Since 1993, Strobel & Hanson, P.A. has helped people address a broad range of legal needs, including building and construction issues, homeowner association matters, insurance issues, township and land use issues, business and corporate law, and real estate issues.

Our firm is committed to supporting and enhancing the success and welfare of our clients through providing first-class legal advice and representation. Einar Hanson is licensed to represent clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

We believe in being an active part of our community to make it better, both through legal and non-legal work. Our past legal pro bono projects include the successful preservation of the largest winter roost of the bald eagle in the lower 48 states, and the on-going guidance of churches and non-profit organizations, while non-legal work includes service upon boards and in clubs of several community organizations.  We value the trust our clients place in us to represent them. Homeowner Association Representation

Einar enjoys helping homeowner associations and their boards with the knotty issues often facing their governance, including amending governing documents, enforcing rules violations, maintenance responsibilities issues, by drawing upon his career-long expertise in construction and insurance law.

Construction Contracting

For over thirty years, Strobel & Hanson’s lawyers have represented clients in all aspects of the construction industry, including owners, contractors, developers, homeowner associations, managing agents, and design professionals, dealing with issues ranging from land acquisition, zoning, bidding and document preparation, contract negotiation, contract performance, warranty issues, and mechanics liens.  

Township and Municipal Representation

Einar regularly represents townships in the southeast Minnesota area in a wide range of issues for township governance, including land use regulation, zoning, road establishment and road vacation, as well as enforcement issues arising from these areas.

Insurance Coverage Issues

Einar assists clients in complex insurance policy interpretation and coverage issues, as well as pre-litigation coverage advice and the negotiation and settlement of claims. 

Land Use and Real Estate Issues

Einar represents clients in a broad range of real estate matters, including the purchase, sale, financing, and leasing of property from single-family homes, cooperatives, condominiums to major commercial and industrial properties. Other real estate matters include easements, special assessments, zoning, construction contracts, leases, title examinations, quiet title actions, land title registration proceedings, and property management and development. 

Business Matters

Einar provides business clients with a full range of legal services, including drafting, interpretation and enforcement of contracts and agreements, handling the acquisition or sale of related businesses, and planning and documenting the transfer of businesses. The firm also advises clients on their day-to-day business activities and business-to-business transactions. All of our legal services and advice are provided with an eye toward preventing costly mistakes and shielding our clients from potential liability.
